How can we prepare students to acquire the necessary skills to confront disinformation? The Rai Cultura program ““Invito alla lettura: Media Literacy against Disinformation” is a TV and web miniseries consisting of five episodes. Alongside young people, teachers, and experts in the field, the theme of combating fake news is approached with a multidisciplinary approach. In addition to acquiring fundamental skills related to media literacy and understanding the psychological mechanisms that influence people’s behavior when they inform themselves and share content online, some best practices are proposed for evaluating the reliability of online information.
