Pagella Politica Pagella Politica is a project by The Fact-Checking Factory (TFCF) Srl. The project has been active since 2012 with the aim of monitoring statements made by key Italian political figures to assess their accuracy through numbers and facts. TFCF Srl also operates the Facta.news project, launched in 2020, which focuses on non-political misinformation. Pagella Politica is an active part of a vibrant international fact-checking community. Since 2017, it has been a member of the International Fact-Checking Network (IFCN) and a signatory of its Code of Principles. Since 2018, it has been a founding partner of various European Commission-funded projects in the field of disinformation, including SOMA (Social Observatory for Disinformation and Social Media Analysis), EDMO (European Digital Media Observatory), and several projects related to Media and Information Literacy. Representatives of Pagella Politica have been part of the Technical Committee for ensuring pluralism and accuracy of information on digital platforms, established by the Italian Communications Authority (AgCom). Its director was a member of the Monitoring Unit on COVID-19 Disinformation established by the Italian government in April 2020.
